Summer holidays coming to an end!

It's all guns blazing still at Saxon House Stables with the pressure washing nearly complete before some touching up with the paint brush all before the horses come back in from their summer holidays. The first two were picked up yesterday from the Beswick's - Dancing Doug & Rock and Bel who are looking great after their time off and credit goes to their owners who have done such a good job over the summer months. They will now spend a week on the walker before the fitness work starts! We plan to start getting some more of the horses in next week and it won't be long before we're all systems go for the season ahead!

The 3 year old's that came from the Land Rover sale in June are going really well, they are now cantering around the school and hacking on the downs, we couldn't be happier with their progress in such a short space of time. We will continue to slowly produce them and so far they all seem to have very nice temperaments and can only hope that they are the stars of the future!

We have been quiet in terms of runners recently, Wonga Swinger had his first run back after an enforced break a few weeks ago and put in a very lackluster performance. He will be a lot sharper for the outing and seems to be going well at home once again, he is declared to run at Stratford on Sunday with Charlie Deutsch on board.
