All Systems Go!

Last Wednesday we gave the commentator something to think about when ipflibbydibby ran in the bumper at Uttoxeter. The 5yr old son of Morozof who was making his racecourse debut for us ran very well considering he was far too keen for the first mile in what was a very slowly run contest. He did well to keep going up the straight after pulling so hard and showed plenty of promise for us, hopefully we can find another little contest for him in the not too distant future.

Last week lot 111 from Ascot sales came back to our yard and i'm happy to announce that he is for sale. He went through the ring unsold as the trade wasn't all that strong for the animals on offer and so James Doyle his handler has let us have him to sell on. We have had horses from James in the past and this horse looks very exciting having finished 3rd on his only start when looking very green and is sure to only improve for the experience and a little bit of time out to grass. He is very reasonably priced so for more information on him then please just get in touch.

Two of our Goffs Land Rover purchases pictured above are coming along very nicely. They are such good fun at this early age keeping everyone on they're toes and both have shown us very willing attitudes toward their work and are both very exciting youngsters. We are lucky in Lambourn that they have so much to see everyday from white railings along with plenty of other horses galloping all of which can only help them. We will carry on with them for another week before leaving them off for a nice break out to grass for a couple of weeks. They are all prepped weeks and weeks before the sales so by now they've all been in work for a little while now so its only fair that they have some down time before coming back in before their real work starts.

Pictured is yet more improvements to the Lambourn facilities which further highlights the attraction to the area.

This week saw the end of some our horses summer holidays as they begin their seasons campaign. They all have a week on the walker whilst they settle back into the yard, this gives us the opportunity to tidy them up and see how well they've all done over the summer months. It's an exciting time of the year seeing them all come back in with hopes and dreams of what the season may hold for many of them!

Finally we have more than just young horses to keep in check, as we are now in charge of 8 beautiful puppies. Franco is very well bred and would no doubt top any sales!
