Well under way with season preparations!

Another few weeks have passed since the last blog, how time flies, the season will be well underway again before we know it! The horses that came in from their holidays at the end of July are now cantering away well up the gallops. We are really pleased with how they are looking, they are now starting to loose their grass belly's and It's great to see how they have progressed since last season both physically and mentally. They are all exactly where Sam wants them to be at this stage and are slowly building up their fitness for the long season ahead.

A new addition joined the string last week, Breeze Along is a 7 year old chestnut gelding which we bought from Ascot sales last week. He has gone to Mark Palmer for a few weeks pre training, on his return he will run him this Autumn before the ground goes too soft, he looks very well treated off his current handicap mark and should find some easy opportunities over both hurdles and fences. He's a perfect horse for a small syndicate to take on and is currently for sale so if you'd like information on him then please do get in touch.

Ipflibbydibby ran at Fontwell Park on Thursday evening in the bumper, we were pleased with how he ran throughout the race but it was pretty clear he didn't let himself down on the quick ground, thankfully he's none the worse and we'll now go hurdling with him. He has schooled very well and will run as soon as we can get some suitable conditions for him.

The Luke Harvey Racing Club enjoyed a yard visit on Sunday morning, it was great to get everyone together to see Royal Magic in the flesh. He was looking really well and we are really excited about getting him back to the yard in the next few weeks, Mark Palmer and his team have done a great job with him. The opportunity to be part of the Luke Harvey Racing Club is still available with a few shares remaining in Royal Magic, please do get in touch if you'd like to be involved!

We also have had some good news in the last few weeks that The Pheasant Inn which is located just outside of Lambourn have agreed to support us by becoming our yard sponsor. We are hugely grateful for the support and are looking forward to the season ahead promoting our favorite local! If you are ever in the area looking for somewhere to eat or stay we highly recommend checking them out. http://www.thepheasant-inn.co.uk/
