Sunny Saturday for our owners day!

On Saturday we held our annual owners day, it was a huge success and were once again blessed with beautiful sunshine all day! We had a good attendance and thanks to all of those who were able to attend and sorry to those who couldn't make it. It was great to be able to parade all the horses we have so far for the season and they are all looking in great order if I don't mind saying myself!

A big thank you must go to all the staff for their hard work running up to and on the day, the horses and yard looked amazing. Also a big thank you to Alice Huxley who provided lots of tasty refreshments that seemed to go down a treat.

We launched our new competition at the open day, the chance to win your very own racehorse! There are just 200 tickets available and is £100 to enter. All you have to do is answer 5 racing questions, if they are answered correctly you will be put into a raffle. The draw will be done on Facebook live once all tickets are sold and the lucky winner will have a year's free lease of an exciting 4 year old by Morozov, Little Allstar. There isn't a catch to it it is that simple!

The day was rounded off with a obligatory trip to The Pheasant Inn for some great food and a few drinks. Thank you to Jack for supplying us with some very smart new clothing for all the team, and thank you to Candy from Woodlands Enterprise for getting the clothing ready in time to wear at our owners day.

We have had great success in selling shares to join the Luke Harvey Racing Club, with just a few shares still available. It was great to get the majority of members together on Saturday to see Royal Magic and for those members to meet Luke himself, this season promises to be a lot of fun!

It's that time of year again when the horses are getting fitter and fitter each day and it won't be long before they will be seen on the race track. With so many young horses we are very much looking forward to getting going with hopes and dreams of what lies ahead!
