Chomping at the Bit!

The workload for the horses has stepped up and the clipping has begun, this can only mean one thing - the season is about to get going! The horses are all in great form, with the majority of them doing their first bits of work last week up the back of the hill. This gave us a good indication of how the horses are progressing in their fitness, with some doing it better than others. One that did do it very well was Golden Friday, he seems to be in very good form and it shouldn't be long before he will be having a run. There are two 25% shares remaining in him, get in touch if you'd like to find out more about this lovely son of Gold Well.

It is looking likely that The Milk Sheiks 'Lady Knight' will kick off our runners, she has been doing everything right at home and she holds entries for Hereford next week, we look forward to seeing how she runs following a long spell off the racecourse.

We are looking forward to doing some owner mornings in the coming weeks now the horses are back in full work, a great opportunity for owners to see their horses in action and witness how they are progressing, followed by a spot of breakfast in our owners rooms.

On Saturday Sam will be digging out his racing gear to take part in the charity race at Chepstow racecourse, raising money for Bob Champion Cancer Trust. Sam is looking forward to getting back on the track and if you are able to help him reach his target of £1000 it would be very much appreciated with the money going to such a good cause.
